About this Pattern

The Leila Shirt is a loose fitting shirt that feels simple and elegant. This cut features a very dropped shoulder with an exaggerated roomy fit around the body, full sleeves with an extra long placket and back gathering details. It's a perfect piece for the height of summer for a breezy feel that covers the skin.

Construction techniques: French seams, placket & cuff, gathering details, facings, button stands, inserting a sleeve, hemming and buttons & button holes.

Suitable fabrics: This piece works well in linens, cottons and other fabrics with a good drape.

Fabric requirements: Our lay-plans are always done on a single layer of fabric to reduce wastage. 

Fabric width 150cm | Sizes 6 - 12 = 160cm | Sizes 14 - 20 = 190cm | Sizes 18 - 28 = 200cm

Fabric width 110cm | Sizes 6 - 12 = 220cm | Sizes 14 - 20 = 280cm | Sizes 18 - 28 = choose fabric with more width
