Return Policy

The following items are final sale:

  • Sewing patterns (including books and magazines containing patterns)
  • Fabric
  • Thread
  • Sale items
  • Kits that include the items above
  • Gift cards

If you're not thrilled with your purchase, you can bring it back for a refund onto the original method of payment or a store credit within 14 days of purchase. Please bring your emailed receipt with you. Items must be in their original packaging and be unused.

The Sewing Club reserves the right to refuse an item for return if it is damaged, used, or not in its original packaging.

Store credits are issued via email and never expire. They can be used to shop in store or online.

If you'd like to return a purchase you made online, please contact us first. You are responsible for return shipping when returning the item, and any shipping costs paid for the order will not be refunded.

Refunds to Currencies other than CAD

All purchases made through our website or shop are processed in Canadian dollars (CAD). If you paid using a credit card or PayPal account in a different currency, your refund will still be issued in CAD. Please note that due to currency exchange rate fluctuations between the time of purchase and the time of refund, the amount you receive may differ slightly. The Sewing Club is not responsible for any differences caused by these exchange rate changes.

Holiday Return Policy

We offer an extended return policy for items purchased as gifts over the holidays. Other than the items that are final sale listed above, purchases made in November or December can be exchanged or returned for a store credit or refund until January 15th. You must provide proof of purchase in the form of a receipt from The Sewing Club for a refund or store credit. Refunds are issued onto the original method of payment. Store credits are issued via email and never expire.
