    Workshops

    We offer size-inclusive, garment-focused workshops.

Our workshops are for adult students only (ages 16+) and we focus on skills related to garment sewing: taking measurements, pattern literacy and alterations, cutting techniques, and of course garment construction methods.

You can see all of our upcoming workshops here.

If the workshop you'd like to attend is sold out, please click the  "Notify me when available" button on the workshop to be notified if someone cancels their spot. Please do this for each workshop you'd like to be waitlisted for.

Click here for a list of all upcoming workshops.

We add workshops approximately a month in advance. We recommend signing up for our email list HERE to be notified when new workshops open.

If you can no longer make the workshop you signed up for, please reach out using the contact form at the bottom of this page.

When you signed up for the workshop, you checked a mandatory box confirming you read, understand and agree to our cancellation policy. Our cancellation policy is posted on each workshop, on this page, and is emailed out a few days before the workshop starts. Being a small business, we adhere to it strictly. Thanks for understanding ❤️

When you cancel your spot in a workshop with over 72 hours notice, you will receive a store credit. An email confimation will be sent to you, including a link to view your credit.

To redeem your store credit, log in or create an account using the same email used to purchase the workshop. You will see a credit in your account that you can apply at checkout.

Yes! We use designs from independent designers for our workshops, and one of the main criteria we look for is size-inclusive sizing.

In the event that your measurements fall above or below the size chart for the pattern, we will grade it to accommodate at no extra cost. We're also able to make adjustments to the pattern, for example wider straps to cover a bra, during the workshop.

If you have any questions about the pattern we're using, please reach out using the contact form at the bottom of this page.

All of our workshops are for adults 16+, and we are not able to offer exceptions to this policy.

We do not offer kids classes at this time; all of our classes are designed for adults 16+.

Our friends at The Green Thimble offer a variety of kids classes. You can view their class calendar here.
