The Easy Pant has a relaxed fit, an elastic waistband, and a generous rise without any side seams. It includes front patch pockets that wrap around to the back side.
The Easy Pant was originally created for my daughter Fia who wore them from nine months to six years old. During potty training, its roomy fit and elastic waist made it easy for Fia to pull the pants on and off all by herself, which helped boost her confidence and independence. This is how the Easy Pant got its name: it was “Easy” to pull up and down!
When designing the Easy Pant, we considered several key characteristics of toddlers. The front rise of the pants is designed to sit comfortably below their bellies, while the back rise is extended to adequately cover their bottoms when they bend over. As a result, the back rise is notably longer than the front rise, ensuring a comfortable and functional fit. Furthermore, recognizing that young children frequently squat to investigate their environment, we drafted the inseam of the Easy Pant to facilitate free movement while squatting.

FABRIC:
The Easy Pant is intended for woven fabrics weighing between
5-8 ounces. Medium-weight natural fibers like cotton, linen, hemp, and wool are excellent choices. A medium-weight silk can create beautiful fancy pants! Suitable weaves include denim, duck, lightweight corduroy, and quilting fabrics. Take care to ensure the fabric is comfortable and not irritating to the skin.
