Jeans Retreat Cancellation Policy
This policy is effective for the Jeans Retreat at KWENCH workshop October 2025.
We understand people get sick, child care cancels, and other emergencies come up. We ask that you please read this policy before booking a workshop, and understand that we must adhere to it. Please be understanding of our limitations as a small, independently run business, and don't ask us to make an exception to our policy.
Because this workshop is being held in a much larger group off-site, the following cancellation policy applies.
If you can provide over 7 days notice:
If you need to cancel your spot and are able to give over 7 days notice, you will receive a digital store credit that can be used for a future workshop, to shop online, or to shop in person. Store credits never expire, and will be issued to the email used to book the workshop.
To cancel, contact us.
If you cancel within 7 days of the start time:
It is very difficult for us to fill workshop spots on short notice. If you cancel within 7 days, do not show for the workshop, or are more than 2 hours late on the first night, you are not eligible for a store credit, and you are not able to pick up workshop materials.
If you are able to find someone to take your place in the workshop, contact us and we can try to arrange that they take your place. This is not guaranteed, especially if they require any custom pattern adjustments.
To cancel, contact us.
Arriving Late
Without prior arrangements, if you arrive two hours or more after the scheduled workshop time on night one, that will be considered a no-show, and you will not be able to join the workshop, receive a store credit, or a refund.
Missing a Class
Partial refunds are not available for missed sessions or if you can't attend all workshop dates. If you can't attend workshop dates, contact us and we can arrange for you to finish the project during a co-working session or take it home. If you must schedule a follow-up session because you missed a class, there will be a charge for additional teaching hours.
Agreeing to this Policy
When you sign up for a workshop, there is a checkbox to acknowledge that you understand and agree to this policy that you are required to select in order to sign up for the workshop. By checking this box and signing up for the workshop, you are agreeing to this policy.
Our Commitment to a Safe Environment for Everyone
The Sewing Club promotes a safe, welcoming, and encouraging environment for everyone. If your words or actions are making someone else feel unsafe or disrespected, you will be asked to leave immediately and you will not be eligible for any type of refund.
