Story

Thanks to your support, Cohana will celebrate its 9th anniversary in October 2025. To show our appreciation, we are offering our popular scissors in limited edition colors. 

As a 9th anniversary limited edition, the case comes with a leather case that perfectly fits the small scissors. The flap is decorated with delicate gold embroidery of hemp leaves, which have long been considered an auspicious pattern. A wire key ring is included, so you can attach it to your sewing bag and carry it around.

The small silk tassels that make the miniature scissors even more adorable are carefully handcrafted by MARIMO, a workshop in Chikugo City, Fukuoka Prefecture. MARIMO specializes in making small tassels, and the beautiful tassels they create are a testament to the delicate craftsmanship of their artisans.

-Shu was founded in Higashiomi City, Shiga Prefecture in 2014. They manufacture embroidery and patches. They aim to combine traditional Japanese techniques with modern apparel designs to create products that combine "traditional Japanese" and "modern Western" styles, and are constantly exploring new possibilities in the embroidery industry.
