About this Pattern
Inspired by a vintage Austrian hiking jacket. This neat mid-season piece is perfect for all weathers. A double breasted jacket that can be lined or unlined. It features two flap pockets and a button tab to close the collar.
Denham is more closely fitting than a lot of our other patterns, do carefully check the finished measurements table, and if in doubt size up.
All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless stated otherwise and are included in the pattern.
Skill level; Intermediate.
Suitable fabrics – dry oilskin, oilskin, linen, 8 -12oz denim, wool, corduroy, cotton twills or canvas. A heavier weight cloth will result in a more structured jacket.
For linings we’d suggest our barrier lining if using an oilskin, otherwise – cotton voile, lightweight linen, cotton poplin, lightweight wool and slip linings.
Sarah and Sandra are wearing the Denham in Cotton Dry Oilskin.
Elwen is wearing the Denham in Utility Olive 9oz.
Please note that sewing patterns are final sale.
