This session is located in our shop at 1722 Lillian Road in Victoria.

What is Stitch & Share?

Led by art therapist Mina Hiebert, our self-paced co-working sessions offer a unique blend of independence and guidance; you'll have a dedicated space to focus on your sewing projects, with built-in accountability so you can prioritize your creative time and see real progress.

Share your successes, seek feedback, and celebrate the joy of sewing with fellow enthusiasts.

Who should come?

• Adults 16+
• All Skill Levels: Whether you're a beginner or an experienced sewer, our diverse community welcomes all skill levels.

What should I work on?

These evening sessions are designed to provide you with the perfect environment to work on and complete sewing projects, with a bit of guidance and encouragement when you need it.

You could:

• Mend & repair your clothes
• Start a new sewing project
• Work on something you’re missing tools for (like a serger)
• Work on something you’re intimidated by (you can do it!!)
• Brainstorm your next project

What is included and what should I bring?

Included in the session is use of:

• A computerized Brother sewing machine
• Sergers (thread is included)
• Irons
• Scissors, chalk, pins, and other necessities

Please bring or plan to buy anything you will to use during the workshop: sewing patterns, fabric, thread, zippers, buttons, etc.

Keep in mind that most of the fabric we sell shrinks when washed, so it’s best to purchase your fabric and wash it before you sew with it!

Accessibility

While the building and workstations are wheelchair accessible, the washroom unfortunately is not (it's tiny). There is an accessible washroom in Hollywood park across the street.

We have machines with hand controls (no pedal required). Please let us know in the checkout notes if you require this type of machine so we can ensure it's set up for you.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel up to 72 hours before the session and receive a full refund or credit towards a future one. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the start time are not eligible for a refund or credit. By signing up for this workshop, you agree to this cancellation policy. Learn more.
