You'll learn from the designer herself, Michelle!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eHere's a note from Michelle about her design:\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eThe original inspiration for the Nico Pants came from watching my sister Nicole navigate endometriosis, and how difficult it can be to find clothing that feels good when her body fluctuates and when pain and discomfort are unpredictable. I wanted to create something that offered her comfort, flexibility, and gentleness.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe Nico styles feature a waistband with elastic at the sides and double drawstrings that tie at the front, making it easy to adjust throughout the day (and add a playful touch!). The flat waistband at the front and the gently elasticized sides allow the body to grow with minimal pressure on the stomach and lower back, and ease in with drawstrings when needed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eThe pants have an easeful fit overall with a wide straight leg and pin-tucked seams down the front and back legs.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eWHO SHOULD TAKE THIS WORKSHOP\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAdults (16+)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIntermediate: Some sewing experience is required in order to keep up with the pace of the class. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eWHAT TO BRING\/ WHAT'S INCLUDED\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAll fabric, thread, patterns, and supplies needed to make The Nico Pants are included.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eYou will take a paper copy of the pattern home with you.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eParticipants will have their own machine to use for the day, but can bring their own if they wish.
