Intermediate - Zero Waste Workwear Jacket - November 6, 13, 20, 27

Intermediate - Zero Waste Workwear Jacket - November 6, 13, 20, 27

ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP

Zero-waste sewing is the practice of sewing that creates no fabric waste. Often, zero-waste patterns are offered as templates that you measure and draw directly onto the fabric, as opposed to traditional sewing patterns where you're cutting out templates first.

This is an oversized, unisex workwear style jacket made using Zero Waste Pattern Cutting. It has a collar and a dropped shoulder and comes with 2 pocket options. The jacket has side splits, front button closure, shoulder darts on front and back shoulders for shaping and back gathers on the sleeve hem with a roll up cuff.

There are only 4 spots available for this workshop to ensure everyone has plenty of opportunity to ask questions and received personalized instruction.

    Cancellation Policy

This policy is effective for purchases made on or after April 8th, 2024.

Our workshops are held in small groups and usually sell out far in advance. It can be very difficult to fill a cancelled spot on short notice. In order to ensure we can continue offering small group sewing workshops, the following cancellation policy applies to all workshop purchases.

We understand people get sick, child care cancels, and other emergencies come up. We ask that you please read this policy before booking a workshop, and understand that we must adhere to it. Please be understanding of our limitations as a small, independently run business, and don't ask us to make an exception to our policy.

If you can provide over 48 hours notice:

If you need to cancel your spot and are able to give over 48 hours' notice, you will receive a digital store credit that can be used for a future workshop, to shop online, or to shop in person. Store credits never expire, and must be issued to the email used to book the workshop.

    To cancel, contact us.

If you cancel within 48 hours of the start time:

It is very difficult for us to fill workshop spots on short notice. If you cancel within 48 hours or do not show for the workshop, you are not eligible for a store credit, and you are not able to pick up workshop materials.

If you are able to find someone to take your place in the workshop, contact us and we can try to arrange that they take your place. This is not guaranteed, especially if they require any custom pattern adjustments.

    To cancel, contact us.

    Arriving Late

If you arrive one hour (60 minutes) or more after the scheduled workshop time, that will be considered a no-show, and you will not be able to join the workshop, receive a store credit, or a refund.

    Multi-Day Workshops

Partial refunds are not available if you can't finish your workshop. If you can't attend the remaining workshop dates, contact us and we can arrange for you to finish the project during a co-working session or take it home.

    Agreeing to this Policy

When you sign up for a workshop, there is a checkbox to acknowledge that you understand and agree to this policy that you are required to select in order to sign up for the workshop. By checking this box and signing up for the workshop, you are agreeing to this policy.
