Date Night: Silk Pillowcases Oct. 4th (Ticket for 2)

ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP

It's our very first ✨ DATE NIGHT ✨ and what better way to spend some time together than to learn a new skill! This workshop is ticketed in pairs; so ask someone special to join you for some quality time! Given the "date night" theme, we wanted to remind you that The Sewing Club is a safe space where LGBTQ+ folks are welcomed and celebrated 💜 

In this one-evening, super-beginner workshop, we'll make pillowcases out of 100% heavyweight silk, which has been shown to provide benefits to hair and skin. Please note that since silk is produced by insects, it is not considered vegan.

Your ticket to this workshop includes:

• TWO workshop tickets
• Materials to make two queen-sized 100% silk pillowcases (20 x 30")
• A charcuterie box from Spoon and Spade to share with your sweetie
• Non-alcoholic refreshments

All fabric, supplies, and equipment are provided. You may bring your own sewing machine if you'd like, but please make sure it's in working order before you arrive, and please bring your own bobbin.

• Adults (16+)

• Skill Level: Super beginner. Zero sewing experience is necessary!

CHOOSING YOUR SIZE AND FABRIC COLOUR

Please choose a fabric colour when you purchase your ticket. If you'd like to make a King sized pillowcase, please reach out to arrange that.

ACCESSIBILITY 

While the building and workstations are wheelchair accessible, the washroom is not. There is an accessible washroom in Hollywood park across the street.

We have machines with hand controls (no pedal required). Please let us know in the checkout notes if you require this type of machine so we can ensure it's set up for you.

CANCELLATION POLICY
