ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
In this 2-day weekend workshop, you'll make the Wren Fleece from Daughter Judy, an oversized crewneck sweatshirt with a large exaggerated shoulder yoke and voluminous sleeve.
This is a beginner-friendly workshop in which you'll learn a ton of skills including working with knits, using a serger to add a professional finish, and adding ribbing. It's suitable for beginners and would make a introduction to sewing with knits!
All fabric, supplies, and equipment (including sewing machines) are provided, and you will receive a copy of the pattern to take home with you.

CHOOSING YOUR SIZE AND FABRIC COLOUR
Please choose your fabric colour when you purchase your ticket. All options are 100% organic cotton for the body and the ribbing around the neckline and sleeves is 97% organic cotton, 3% spandex for stretch.
Please also enter your bust/chest, waist and hip measurements to help us prepare the patterns. Check out this blog post for some tips on taking your measurements.

The Sewing Club is located at 1722 Lillian Road in Fairfield, Victoria, BC, Canada.
There is street parking available out front and we have one parking spot directly beside the building that you're welcome to use while you shop.

While the building and workstations are wheelchair accessible, the washroom unfortunately is not. There is an accessible washroom in Hollywood park across the street.
We have machines with hand controls (no pedal required). Please let us know in the checkout notes if you require this type of machine so we can ensure it's set up for you.

We do our best to be flexible and accommodating when your plans change, but as these are small group workshops that usually sell out far in advance, it can be difficult to fill a cancelled spot on short notice.
This policy is effective for purchases made on or after October 10, 2023.
Over one week from start time
If you need to cancel your spot and are able to give over one week's notice, you will receive a full refund or store credit towards a future class.
To cancel, contact us and let us know if you would like a refund or a store credit. Store credits never expire and can be used for anything online or in-store.
Between one week and 48 hours from start time
If you need to cancel your spot and are able to give over 48 hours' notice, you will receive a store credit that can be used for a future workshop, to shop online, or in person. Store credits never expire.

Under 48 hours from start time
It is very difficult for us to fill workshop spots on short notice. If you cancel within 48 hours or do not show for the workshop, you are not eligible for a refund or credit, and you are not able to pick up workshop materials.
If you are able to find someone to take your place in the workshop, contact us and we can try to arrange that they take your place. This is not guaranteed, especially if they require any custom pattern adjustments.
Multi-Day Workshops
Partial refunds are not available if you can't finish your workshop. If you can't attend the remaining workshop dates, contact us and we can arrange for you to finish the project during a co-working session or take it home.
