Beginner - The Audrey Hood - Sunday, January 12th

ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP

In this one-day workshop, we'll make the Merchant and Mills Audrey Hood: a lined, cozy addition to any outfit and the perfect accessory to make yourself look like the subject of a painting. You can make it with your choice of outer and lining fabric.

WHAT TO BRING/ WHAT'S INCLUDED

All fabric, supplies, and equipment are provided. Participants will have their own machine to use for the day, but can bring their own if they want to become more familiar with it. 

SKILL LEVEL

• Adults (16+)
• Skill Level: Super Beginner. It's ok if this is your first sewing project!

• Fabric cutting techniques: rotary cutting
• Sewing machine basics: threading the machine, seam allowances
• Creating a lined/double sided garment using the burrito method
• Sewing & clipping around curves
• Edgestitching
